Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026This Privacy Policy explains how Optimetrik Training ("we", "us", "our"), the training division of Optimetrik Digital, collects, uses, discloses and protects information when you visit learn.optimetrik.com ("the Site"), enquire about a course, or book a free demo class. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Who we are
Optimetrik Training is an IT and professional training institute based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. For the purpose of applicable data protection laws, Optimetrik Training is the data controller for information collected through this Site.
Information we collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, the course you're interested in, and any message you submit through our contact, enquiry or "Book a Free Demo Class" forms.
- Automatically collected information — such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time spent on the Site, and referring website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Information from advertising platforms — such as anonymised interaction data when you click through to our Site from a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) or Google ad.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiries and confirm demo class or course bookings;
- Provide, operate and improve our training programmes and this Site;
- Send you relevant course updates, batch schedules or offers, where you have not opted out;
- Measure and improve the performance of our advertising campaigns on Meta and Google; and
- Comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Cookies & tracking technologies
Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to operate the Site and understand how it is used. These may include:
- Essential cookies required for the Site to function correctly;
- Analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) that help us understand visitor behaviour in aggregate; and
- Advertising cookies (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Ads tag) described in the next section.
You can control or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.
Advertising & remarketing (Meta & Google)
We run advertising campaigns through Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads to promote our courses. As part of this, we may use:
- The Meta Pixel, which allows us to measure ad performance and show relevant ads to people who have visited our Site, and build "lookalike" audiences of people with similar interests;
- The Google Ads tag / Google Analytics, which helps us measure conversions (such as a demo class booking) and show remarketing ads across the Google network.
These tools may place cookies on your device and share limited, generally anonymised interaction data with Meta and Google. Meta and Google process this data under their own privacy policies, which you can review at facebook.com/privacy/policy and policies.google.com/privacy. You can manage your ad preferences directly through your Meta account settings or Google Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com.
Third-party sharing
We may share information with trusted third parties who help us operate our business, including form and website hosting providers, payment processors (where applicable), WhatsApp Business, email/SMS providers, and analytics or advertising platforms as described above. These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us.
Data retention
We retain enquiry and booking information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, deliver our training services, and meet our legal, accounting or reporting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights & choices
You may contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or to opt out of receiving marketing messages from us. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
Our courses and this Site are intended for students, professionals and adults seeking training. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you share with us. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
